A Cappella Version of “She Loves Everybody”

Posted by D.A. on Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

One of our most steadfast supports, Angela in Minneapolis, just sent us this clip of an a cappella group covering “She Loves Everybody.” Max and I used to be engineers at Harvard’s campus studio and, to our frustration, often had to record a cappella groups. Luckily, the Octopodes from Johns Hopkins University did a great job on this one. Extra props to the beat-boxer for his innovative dance moves.

I love seeing; hearing you guys sing. Good luck in everything you do. Johns Hopkins should be proud to have you all doing postive work.

  • That beat-boxer is skaking hard from the looks of it. I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but he also looks like he’s in pain. This actually sounds pretty amazing. I love it lots :)

  • Catherine says:

I agree Catherine! Haha. He’s an exceptional beat boxer though. I’d say they did the song justice.

I found some more videos of them here. http://bit.ly/588bUi They’re an awesome group. Congrats Johns Hopkins.

Oh my god. I just about died of laughter at the beat boxer. Absolutely fantastic! Not as good as the real thing of course.

  • MVS says:

Even by college standards, that was awful. I wish they couldve done you guys justice!
    Solo was notably terrible.
