In the studio with Pharrell

Posted by D.A. on Saturday, December 19th, 2009

I went out to L.A. this past weekend to work with Pharrell on a soundtrack he’s overseeing for an awesome new animated film, Despicable Me. Here’s a shot from the studio.

I also got to check-out Hans Zimmer’s studio, which is unreal. Here’s a picture of that:

Max and I also visited NYC and met with Diddy to discuss the upcoming “Ciroc Star” video, which we’ll be shooting in Vegas soon. Stay tuned for more details on that!

Hope you all are enjoying the holidays!

Ahh, sweet. I’m excited for it all as well. Can you take more behind the scenes photos? They are a lot of fun to look at. :D

Look at how amazing that studio looks! That room is so vibey and there’s so much creativity in it. The room I work in makes me look homeless compared to that. No wonder these guys are so good at their jobs, look at their work environments!!!

  • Marco says:

    nice, great studio!
are you working on the same song that’s played at the end of the despicable me trailer?

  • damichie says:

You two are lucky to be under his label. My dream is to also work under Star Trek, since I see Pharrell as a idol being from the same area. Hope to work with you guys in the future.

That studio is pretty sweet. A Ciroc Star video? Yes! One of my favorite songs of yours, along with time to unwind, and nerd girl, and fingers, and… I could keep going on forever.

Taking a second look, and now having my VOGUE…those must be the glasses of the moment?! They ARE the same right?

And are you wearing those boots 24/7 in this ridiculous Midwest weather? FREEZING.

  • Love you man! You’re a great performer.
