We had this video sent into us with the following note:
This is a video from Matt and Lindsey’s Jamaican wedding at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton on 11/28/2009. This song by Masta Ace & Edo G (featuring Chester French) ended up being the hottest of the night, played twice during the reception and once later on at the resort disco.
Nuts. Congrats, Matt and Lindsay. The guy chanting “Dancing like a white girl” over and over again is incredible.

We were featured in a story about gondola rides in Central Park:
Then there are those that never quite get off the water. In the middle of a cruise with a lovely South African couple, a rowboat approached carrying members of the pop band Chester French. They circled us, declared their fame then jumped on the gondola, crying out, “This is a pirate takeover!” (only with an unprintable modifier starting with “f” between “pirate” and “takeover”). Apparently they were shooting a music video. The situation struck me as slightly uncomfortable, until a week later, when a YouTube search of “Central Park gondola” brought up a hit titled “Chester French Postpones My Marriage Proposal.”

Special Saturday Outfits!

So last Saturday we decided to go wild at our gig and we all wore, uhh… “special” outfits. DA wore a bicycle helmet, Manny wore a onesie, Omar wore a red vinyl jacket and Max wore… uhm, a baby doll and pink fur boots (among a bunch of other craaazy stuff).
We also snuck some cool pictures of Travis (from Blink 182) watching us from the side of the stage because, well, it’s cool. Why not?!

We love Seattle. And Seattle, we love your radio station 107.7 The End even more. You guys rule. You’re one of our biggest supporters and when you show us the kind of love you show us (where you invite us to really cool meet-n-greets and have us play in your AWESOME Endfest), we get really big smiles on our faces and, sometimes, treat ourselves to huge hot fudge sundaes. With three spoons… one for Max, one for DA and one for you, 107.7 The End.
