So guess what? We’re one of MTV’s Featured Artists… which is pretty effin’ sweet, right? We got to shoot a bunch of cool bumper segments that are gonna be blasting all over your TV screens during April.
But you know what’s even sweeter? The PSAs we shot for MTV’s GYT (“Get Yourself Tested”) Campaign.

It’s funny because DA always wanted a billboard in Times Square when he was a kid. Whenever anyone asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up, he’d say “A billboard.” So… his wish came true!!

We Won The MTVu Freshman Five!

A lot of you guys might already know this, but that contest we were in? The MTVu Freshman Five, where our video for “She Loves Everybody” was pitted against videos by Asher Roth, White Lies, Friendly Fires and Sing It Loud?
Well, thanks to you guys and your tireless voting efforts, WE WON!! Holy cow.
That means our video will be in regular rotation on MTVu, broadcast into dorm rooms across the country.
As promised, we have 20 T-Shirts for the 20 people who worked the hardest at helping us win the contest. We’re going to look over all the comments left on the Myspace and the blog now and we’ll contact you if you get a free T Shirt. So stay tuned.

Hey everyone!
We’ve got a very, very important request… We’re part of MTVU’s “Freshman 5″ and, right now, there’s a vote going on to determine your favorite video, out of all five of us Freshman 5 (the other four acts are Asher Roth, White Lies, Friendly Fires and Sing It Loud).
WE NEED YOU GUYS to head over to MTVU and vote for “She Loves Everybody” as your favorite video! You can vote as many times as you’d like and voting is ongoing until Friday at 11:59 PM EST.
You can vote by clicking the “VOTE NOW” button in the upper right hand corner.
If Chester French wins, there will be some T-Shirts and signed limited edition “She Loves Everybody” condom packaged singles to be handed out! So, if and when you vote, drop a comment either on the blog, the myspace blog post or right on our myspace page saying: “I VOTED… ” and then the # of times you voted.

“She Loves Everybody” Video Premieres MONDAY on MTV!!

Hey folks;
It’s been a long time coming, but THIS MONDAY, the video for our debut single, “She Loves Everybody,” hits the airwaves. The video will debut as an “Unleashed Video Premiere” on Monday, February 2nd on MTV and will soon move into regular rotation on MTV2 and MTV2.com starting on February 9th.
We’ll also be part of the MTV Networks Discover & Download program starting February 9th and, soon after that, will be featured as one of MTVU’s Freshman 5 artists.
That’s a WHOOOLE lotta Chester French on a whooole lotta MTV networks and shows.
MTV is actually already running promos featuring us on air as of a few days ago, which is insane.
The video should be available for embedding online very soon, so be sure to check back here Monday for more details.
AND BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MTV ON MONDAY FOR THE PREMIER OF THE VIDEO FOR “SHE LOVES EVERYBODY!”

Apparently, someone at MTV is following DA. Hilarious! Here’s the quote:
“Some bigger artists opened up accounts only to neglect them. Lil Wayne’s last tweet was on December 7, 2007, when he was “chilling.” He’s been a little bit busy since then
Other artists, however, are using Twitter to their advantage. Asher Roth can update his fans about the release of his “I Love College” video. Chester French’s D.A. Wallach tells his followers that he’s on his way to his sister’s choir concert (and that Lil Wayne’s “Prom Queen” “is really bad”).”
