Chester French supporter extraordinaire Bryce brought us all the Lessons in Endurance a few months back. Well, he’s back with a brand new video showcasing a brilliant and hilarious way to promote Chester French. Check out Chester French Police:
We think we might just have the most creative supporters out there. And so we’re asking you guys and girls out there to put your thinking caps on.
We’re going to be all over the USA (and parts of Canada too) on this Blink 182 tour. Each city, each day is a different chance to connect with supporters and help them spread the word about Chester French (and sometimes, reward those of you with the most creative ideas).
So we’re asking you to post, right here in the comments, ideas on how to help spread the good word on Chester French. Leave as many comments as you can and we want an idea from everyone. Remember, there are no bad ideas… just bad dancing.
Comment away!

We got this note from Chester French supporter Audrey:
Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you guys know that I really appreciate how cool and nice ya’ll are to your fans out there! It’s rare to find an awesome band with people as great and as down to earth as you guys are. I hope your tour is going well, and that everyone is doing good!If ya ever come to North or South Carolina, i’ll be glad to show you around! Contrary to what ya might think, we do have a few cool things down here!
Oh attached are pictures of what has to be one the cutest Chester French fans out there, my dog Clash!
Awwwwww, hi Clash!

This is awesome/weird as hell. We got this message from CF Supporter Holly:
“Here’s a photo and tell you what I’m going to do…I’m going to buy your Genius CD and pipe it in for the girls, Elsie, Frieda, Ida June, Olivia and Lydia Rose, (named after great aunts) and see if it helps with the laying. They should begin laying eggs come September-ish. I’ll let you know the effect you have on the “ladies”. Who knows…maybe this will end up being bigger than the infamous “Colbert-bump”.”

So, we have a cat named Chester French. And now we’ve got a group of chickens as Chester French fans. We are really crossing over into inter-species territory this week.
Which is a great place to be.

Wow. This is the most honorific of all honors that exist. Well, outside of someone naming their tiger after us.

Check out this wonderful artist rendition of us, by our supporter Maxwell:

“you guys are legit, the modern day beatles, if they had hip hop influence!”
Thanks, my man! We love this… we look like if CF was guest starring on a very special episode of South Park or something.
Send more!

Chester French UBER supporter Eduardo sent us a picture of his new tattoo–it’s lyrics from the intro of “Love The Future”!

The tattoo apparently runs along the inside of his arm and, as he said, is only the first of many Chester French-inspired tattoos! Hah, we LOVE THIS!

hypebot is one of the most important blogs in the music industry–it’s read by all the movers, shakers and the movers and shakers’ assistants. So it’s super awesome the blog gave our buddy & supporter Bryce’s hilarious vide, “Lessons In Endurance, Episode 1: Mixtape Madness” some coverage.
Here’s Bryce’s video again for those of you who forgot:
And here’s hypebot’s write up:
“It’s no secret that there is promotional power in giving away music, but just slapping a FREE banner on a web site doesn’t cut it anymore. Free is everywhere. But what if the free music was on a CD given fan to fan with no strings attached? That could get pretty expensive…unless the fans do it for you.
Free fan created CD’s os exactly what indie band Chester French is encouraging fans to do with a video series about an an uber-fan who “burned tons of copies and gave them out to everyone he knows (and a bunch of people he doesn’t!)”. Through the videos, “Bryce wants to teach you guys how to be the Ultimate Chester French Supporter, just like him.” Then the bands asks, “So, how did you guys promote the mixtape?” Brilliant.
But the band doesn’t just embrace “free” with fan burned CD’s.
Of course, there is the requisit amount of free content to listen, watch and interact with on The Chester French web site. But there’s also more:
“Please join the Chester French VIP Concierge Service below to receive a VIP invitation to the next Chester French show or party in your city. We’ll even send you a free mp3 of the “She Loves Everybody” Clinton Sparks Dance Remix.”
Note that the band doesn’t shout “Join Our Email List” and it’s “Membership in the Chester French VIP Concierge Service”, and it’s free to join plus you get a free remix in exchange for your name, email address and zip code.”
Bryce’s video also got great coverage on TechDirt and got a great mention from our friend Ian Rogers, on his Twitter account.
This is the kind of thing that keeps us completely energized because it’s making listening to music FUN again.
We’re currently working with Bryce on the next few episodes of Lessons In Endurance. Stay tuned!

We introduced you guys to our buddy and supporter Bryce last month. For those of you guys who don’t remember, Bryce went all out right when “Jacques Jams, Vol 1: Endurance” came out and burned tons of copies and gave them out to everyone he knows (and a bunch of people he doesn’t!)
Well, Bryce wants to teach you guys how to be the Ultimate Chester French Supporter, just like him. So he’s launching a series of videos about it, called Lessons In Endurance. Here’s Episode 1: “Mixtape Madness”:
So, how did you guys promote the mixtape?
