Turn day into the night
Face to wash, teeth to floss
More coffee down the drain
Concerta in my brain
But got nothing yet to show
I had to read the facts
Back to back
Book to book
Can’t sleep until I’m done
But at that time the sun
Will come up
And keep my high
You’re never ever gonna find me
I’m worn out, gon’ run away
I need to get some sleep
I’m dying to leave the work behind me
Get inspired, and find my way
I need to get some….
Turn night into the day
Rain to snow
Studio
We’re cold but we’re alive
Another month inside
But got nothing yet to show
That’s just the way it goes
Some do fine
Some do lines
And some just stay awake
No time to take a break
Or escape into a dream
[Chorus]
It’s comin around
It’s comin around
It’s comin around
Round
It’s comin around
It’s comin around
It’s comint around
Round
this is so my new theme song!
I really enjoy listening to your album. “Love the Future” is the best album I’ve heard in 2009. Your songs are very musical and the way they’re composed is genius. You can listen to the album and hear who are your biggest influences. I do expect you two to win some awards for this album and if you don’t, you’re allowed to act like Kanye. My favorite song right now is “Sleep” maybe because I’m a screenwriter and I feel like this song speaks for me.
P.S. You guys got me working on “Endurance!” But chicks do dig guys who are creative though. ha
i dont know what this song is about, someone please explain
I love your music and you guys seem cool as hell. The only thing I would like to say is stay true to your sound and NEVER change.
TO me the song is about artist like me who do everything on their own, obviously never sleep because their working so hard to get this sound to run with, and become famous with. They work 24/7 with nothing yet to show because with work takes time to perfect and master that particular sound.
Thats what it seems to me at least
cause I literally do everything on my own
record, produce, mix, edit, graphic design, blah blah
I go to an engineering school so it’s very helpful but this SLEEP song is my anthem to just keep working…
I actually saw you guys (chester french) @ the diesel store on union sq may 2nd and gave you my demo aha, it would be amazing if you actually listened to it on your free time…
Well yeah like I said Sleep is my favorite song on the album but I loved all the songs, their so dam clever!!
Keep up the strive C.F!!

listen with headphones or big speakers and you’ll hear breathing before the song starts, deep. didn’t notice it before.
I’ve heard your album over 30 times, and this song has slowly become my second favorite (”Fingers” is so beautiful, it’ll just always be #1). As an insomniac, I’d have to say that this is the most ingenious interpretation of the anxiety and intense emotions relating to lack of sleep. As a student, I agree with the entire message of the song (I think I heard you say in an interview that this song was about your anxiety and tiresome studies at Harvard? It made me respect the entire nature of the song so much more). And, as a percussionist and overall band geek, this is one of the best popular music compositions I’ve ever heard. I wish I could hear you in concert with an orchestra backing you (too much dreaming when I sleep!)
Anyway, I totally agree with Jamison’s comment. If you don’t win any awards for this, I’ll pull a Kanye for you!!!
I love Chester French!! Your music is very inspiring(i think I spelled that wrong)!!! My favorite songs off the Love The Future album are Time To Unwind and Sleep! Max and DA are pure genius!! I’m a big fan of Pharrell, The Neptunes, N.E.R.D. etc. and when I heard your mixtape Jacques Jams Vol 1: Endurance I was in love! lol I’m only 14 and excuse my french but YOU GUYS ARE EFFN AWESOME! xD I couldn’t help myself! I love the way the beat changes throughtout the songs and the way they end! It leaves me thinking(and my mom likes it when I use my brain cause I’m a genius too :])
#1 song on in my eyes. It truly depicts what people go through to make a name in the music industry. I have had many sleepless nights trying to record, write, and produce. Hopefully one day it will all pay off!

What a perfect ending to your breakout album. I am only left with one question. What ever happened to “People” Is it going to be on your next c.d. or was that just like a demo song.

We cut People from the album but it is available with the record on iTunes.

They really should of kept “the sister song” and “the pleasure squad”.
